We use a range of direct work tools to inform the overall assessment. Our assessments are attuned to the family’s needs to produce an evidence based assessment with clear recommendations and focused support.
We conduct a range of parenting assessments using tools and programs including PAMS, Parent Assess and CUBAS. These assessments detailing the parenting capacity of vulnerable parents, including individuals who have Learning Difficulties or Mental Health needs. We complete parenting assessments that focus on Reunification Assessments. Our ISWs are experienced assessors who continue to complete relevant training to enhance and develop their assessment skills.
Our Intensive Parenting Assessments (IPA) are dynamic assessments, completed in the community. The IPA offers a minimum of 2.5 days of assessment each week, including extended periods of contact, with direct teaching and support offered.

We are able to complete Together and Apart assessments that consider the individual needs of the child and the needs of the sibling group.
Assessments are undertaken within ten to twelve weeks from provision of a letter of instruction. If your requirements differ from this, please feel free to give us a call to discuss your requirements. Local Authorities will be responsible for completing medical, financial and other statutory checks required to complete the assessment.

We are able to complete risk assessments where specific issues have been identified. At times these can include the exploration after a Fact-Finding Hearing or where there is a specific that requires consideration and detailed assessment.
We complete a number of assessments within private law proceedings. We are able to offer S7 and S37 reports or specific pieces of work where there are key issues to consider or explore within the proceedings.
